About Dr. Affan Khan

I am Dr. Mohammad Affan Khan, an Orthopaedic Surgeon dedicated to helping patients regain mobility, relieve pain, and return to an active and healthy life. I completed my MBBS from Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences and pursued my MS in Orthopaedics from T.S. Mishra Medical College, where I received comprehensive training in trauma care, fracture management, joint disorders, and musculoskeletal medicine. Throughout my clinical training and professional career, I have managed a wide spectrum of orthopaedic conditions ranging from acute trauma and fractures to chronic joint problems such as osteoarthritis and spine-related pain. My experience in busy tertiary care hospitals and emergency trauma settings has strengthened my ability to make timely clinical decisions and deliver evidence-based treatment tailored to each patient’s needs. I have a strong academic interest in advancing orthopaedic care and have conducted postgraduate research on the role of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. This work reflects my interest in regenerative medicine and modern therapies that can improve healing and long-term outcomes for patients suffering from joint disorders. I believe that effective treatment goes beyond surgery or medication. My approach focuses on careful diagnosis, clear communication, and compassionate care so that patients feel confident and informed about their treatment journey.
