Dr. Gokul Raj

Dr. Gokul Raj is a Consultant Psychiatrist (MD Psychiatry) with over a decade of clinical experience across government, tertiary-care, and private practice settings in India. He completed his Post-MD Senior Residency and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Integrative Psychiatry at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru

During his time at NIMHANS, Dr. Raj managed the full spectrum of adult psychiatric conditions, including mood and psychotic disorders, addiction, OCD, and perinatal mental illness, while also delivering evidence-based psychotherapies such as CBT, motivational interviewing, and short-term psychodynamic therapy. He has hands-on experience with neuromodulation treatments (ECT, rTMS, tDCS) and has supervised psychiatric emergency and crisis care services.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a Medical Officer with the Department of Health, Government of Kerala, delivering psychiatric care in rural and tribal community settings, and served as a psychiatry consultant for the Government of India's e-Sanjeevani telemedicine programme - giving him direct, practical experience in remote mental health consultation.

The consultation fee is ₹2000, with appointments generally available Monday to Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
